Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Translation Project Coordinator to join our team at TransPerfect. As a key member of our Translation Project Management team, you will be responsible for providing support to our Translation team and ensuring the smooth execution of language/translation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with the life-cycle of language/translation projects, including setting up jobs, contacting linguists, and negotiating prices.
- Recreate or convert PDF documents into Microsoft Word for translation preparation.
- Review recreated files for accuracy and correct any errors identified.
- Provide technical support, including file format problems and troubleshooting.
- Receive files from clients and store them on our internal network.
- Update spreadsheets and trackers with information on files handled for clients.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a university and able to collaborate with NUBE for the provision of the internship agreement.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe software products.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Independence in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management.
