Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Rocket Financial Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and BitBucket pipelines
* Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CDK
* Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other tools
* Implement and manage messaging and data streaming with Kafka
* Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices and improve the overall development process

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles
* Strong experience with AWS services, including EKS, ECS, CloudWatch, Kafka, RDS, Redshift, EC2, VPC
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
* Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, AWS Codebuild, and CodeCommit
* Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes
* Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
* Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Experience with agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification
* CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification
* Experience with additional AWS services like Lambda, S3, and RDS
* Knowledge of security best practices and tools for securing cloud infrastructure
