We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our international Operations team at one of our locations in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
About the role:
- Input shipment data on the Brazilian Merchant System/CE Mercante
- Collect original BLs from carriers
- Monitor payment of local fees and shipment release procedures with carriers
- Manage open files on CargoSoft and organize closed files for each shipment
- Identify and receive couriers
- Organize BLs and withdraw them to shippers as needed
- Print file vouchers and documents for accounting closure
Requirements:
- Completed training in freight forwarding
- Work experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record of successful logistics operations, coordination, and management
- Familiarity with freight forwarding software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
- Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
