Job Title: Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Business Intelligence team in supporting the Payments group. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in driving business success through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial data and its importance in driving business decisions. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data processing, and experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) are essential for this position.

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, especially Databricks and Snowflake, is highly valued. Additionally, advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and financial formulas, are necessary for creating meaningful reports and dashboards. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify relevant data sources for business intelligence needs.
  • Analyze and enhance reporting deliverables to support the Business Intelligence Team.
  • Extract, clean, and process data to ensure accuracy and usability for business analysis.
  • Maintain database information in MS Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy amidst changing needs.
  • Create reports and dashboards to provide insights to business users.
  • Provide proactive analytics and insights to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in a data-related role.
  • Proficiency in data processing, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL and working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, especially Databricks and Snowflake.
