Security and Compliance Analyst


Our team is looking for a skilled Security and Compliance Analyst to join us in our mission to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols, regulations, and best practices, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Internal Compliance: Identify control gaps, evaluate compliance with policies and procedures, and maintain controls lists.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks to the organization's assets, data, and reputation.
  • Due Diligence: Manage due diligence questionnaires, respond to client inquiries, and ensure timely completion of all responses.
  • Security Training: Complete mandatory security trainings and report any suspected information security violations or breaches.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT security, audit, compliance, or project management
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and Information Security standards
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional designation (CSA CCM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC)
  • Experience working with GDPR, PIPEDA, or similar Data Privacy frameworks
  • Knowledge of information management/RFP platforms
  • Ability to influence change through effective communication and interpersonal skills
