Job Description:

With Speechify, you can convert any book, document, or website into audio, allowing you to enjoy your favorite content during daily activities.

We power popular platforms like Medium, the Star Tribune, and The Direct, making it easy to integrate text-to-speech functionality into websites.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and incorporate new sources of audio data into our ingestion pipeline
  • Manage and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, utilizing GCP and Terraform
  • Collaborate with scientists to optimize data processing, delivering richer data at larger scales and lower costs
  • Contribute to the AI Team's dataset roadmap, powering consumer and enterprise products
Requirements:
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development
  • Proficiency in bash/Python scripting, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
  • Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows, and proficiency in GCP
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and multitasking abilities
