We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting project leaders on water treatment projects, reviewing drawings for operability and HazOps analysis, managing operations and maintenance projects with municipal and industrial clients, and performing startup and commissioning of new water treatment facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Support Project Leaders: Collaborate with local, state, and regional HDR project leaders on water treatment projects requiring input from Operations Specialists.
    2. Operability Review: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings for operability review and HazOps analysis to ensure successful operation of various treatment processes.
    3. Operations Management: Manage operations and maintenance projects with both municipal and industrial clients, involving client interfacing, regulatory reporting, personnel management, subcontractor management, and maintenance oversight.
    4. Commissioning Planning: Develop comprehensive startup and commissioning plans and host workshops to share these ideas with client's contractors and operators to ensure the plan will work for each specific plant.
    5. Facility Commissioning: Perform startup and commissioning of new water treatment facilities, working closely with contractors and engineers to ensure the new equipment functions correctly before handing it over to operations and maintenance staff.
    6. Client Training: Provide formal and informal training to help clients' treatment plants operate as efficiently as possible.
    7. Facility Testing: Participate in the testing of facilities to ensure they are ready for startup and meet capacity requirements after startup.
    8. Asset Management: Conduct condition assessments and asset management tasks on water and wastewater facilities using state-of-the-art evaluation tools to capture information and opinions efficiently.
    9. Troubleshooting: Perform operational or maintenance troubleshooting and evaluations on municipal and industrial water facilities.

This is a full-time position that requires 30-40% travel, with opportunities for more. We offer a competitive salary range of $71,960 - $128,500 based on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
