The Transaction Monitoring Team is seeking a skilled professional to help analyze and make decisions on alerts triggered by our Transaction Monitoring System.

Job Duties
  • Monitor alerts from the TM system and proactively suggest improvements to prevent fraudulent transactions and optimize existing fraud management processes.
  • Analyze fraud patterns and develop new rules to detect suspicious activity.
  • Provide support and advice to other departments on fraud-related matters.
  • Conduct investigations into merchant requests for fraud analysis.
  • Create reports on fraud data.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in transaction monitoring, preferably in fintech or financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with money laundering prevention, due diligence, KYC, KYB, UBO, PEP, sanctioned screening, and FATF recommendations.
  • ACAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, think critically, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills and expertise in Power BI and SQL.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (professional business language).
