We are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to manage and execute tax activities.
Utilize your experience in tax to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide management and execution of activities inherent to tax accounting, managing and mitigating tax risks (anticipation, identification, evaluation, monitoring).
- Ensure compliance with tax calculation and fulfill deliveries following deadlines.
- Manage relationships with external firms responsible for direct and indirect tax returns.
- Act as a tax business partner, supporting and steering projects.
- Manage tax processes in line with internal control framework.
- Lead the implementation of changes to ensure compliance with tax reforms.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing including Tax Package submission for group reporting.
- Prepare current and deferred tax calculation, review, and submission; control and monitor tax calculations and tax accounting reconciliations (IPI/PIS/COFINS/ICMS).
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Less than 8 years of relevant tax experience working in-house and/or as an advisor.
- Experience leading teams on a day-to-day and project basis.
- Detailed knowledge of/experience with tax regulations.
- Knowledge of international tax principles and tax compliance obligations (optional).
- Tax accounting knowledge.
- Ability to communicate technical tax issues to senior management in a clear and effective manner.
- Ability to translate legal requirements and regulations into business processes.
