Key Responsibilities

We seek a seasoned professional to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, advising on data strategies and understanding challenges to drive solution adoption. This individual will work closely with sales teams, propositions teams, customers, and partners to understand emerging market requirements and design tailored solutions.

Technical Requirements
  • The successful candidate will have significant experience working in the financial sector and an in-depth understanding of FS regulation and reporting.
  • Experience dealing with complexities of enterprise-scale customers is essential, resulting in tangible technology adoption.
  • A strong background in data governance and quality expertise, including deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, proven understanding of data quality and lineage, and experience in data transformations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations around data, including BCBS 239, GDPR, AML/KYC frameworks, and ESG data transparency.

About this Role

The Principal Data Management Consultant is a key technical advisor and product advocate responsible for positioning and promoting our Aperture Data Studio suite to enterprise clients in the Banking and Financial Services sectors.

Requirements
  • An excellent understanding of banking data, trends, and C-suite priorities, such as GenAI, cloud, data-driven decision making, and regulatory trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with C-level executives, especially CIOs, CDOs, CFOs, and CROs.
  • Strong commercial intuition and strategic listening skills to uncover unmet needs and high-potential opportunities.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
