Conservation Biologist Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Biodiversity Expert to spearhead biodiversity baseline studies, critical habitat assessments, and ecosystem services evaluations.

• The ideal candidate will lead biodiversity baseline studies, critical habitat assessments, and ecosystem services evaluations to inform project planning and conservation strategies.
• Responsibilities include developing and implementing Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs), including offset strategies where necessary, to achieve measurable conservation outcomes.
• This role also entails designing and overseeing biodiversity monitoring programs, including Key Biodiversity Indicators (KBIs), to track ecological performance and inform adaptive management.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Biology, Ecology, or a related field is essential.
• At least 8 years of experience in biodiversity assessment, management, and conservation planning is required.
• The ideal candidate should possess expertise in applying IFC Performance Standard 6, including Critical Habitat Assessments, Biodiversity Action Plans, and biodiversity offsets, as well as integrating nature-related risk frameworks such as TNFD.
