Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing battery energy storage systems. Your primary responsibility will be to support grid-scale BESS projects by creating conceptual layouts and one-line diagrams.

  • Evaluate and analyze energy storage technologies, products, and vendors to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Develop detailed electrical engineering designs for microgrid and distributed energy resources projects.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with National Electrical Code, National Electric Safety Code, IEEE codes and standards, as well as county, city, and state codes, ordinances, and standards.

A strong understanding of BESS technologies and their integration into traditional power generation and renewables facilities is essential for this role.

You will also coordinate closely with civil, structural, fire & life safety (FLS), high-voltage electrical, SCADA/telecommunications, water, and geotechnical engineers to develop complete issue-for-construction design packages.
