Global Service Design Lead Microsoft Security

SoftwareOne is a leading global platform, solution, and technology service provider, offering a full suite of solutions to help organizations transform their technology landscape and optimize their technology investments in an increasingly software-defined and cloud-first world.

This role is part of our Global Microsoft Center of Excellence, which identifies new business opportunities and works closely with our strategic partner, Microsoft, to design innovative, efficient technology solutions.

As a Global Service Design Lead Microsoft Security, you will be responsible for crafting services from inception to delivery, ensuring they align seamlessly with our business objectives.

You will define and design services as products, supporting the Product Manager, and collaborate with the Operations Lead, Capacity and Capability Lead, Delivery Regions, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing a best-in-class, cost-efficient service delivery model at both group and regional levels.
  • Driving the creation of repeatable Microsoft Security solutions and accelerators.
  • Leading the technology collaboration with Microsoft, including the realization of joint Security offerings.
  • Collaborating with internal Centres of Excellence and service units to promote integration and synergy across our Security initiatives.
  • Defining and implementing delivery and product strategies that align with our corporate goals.
  • Elevating our delivery efforts by being a trusted advisor in the development of proposals, solution designs, and architectures.
  • Leading our Security Advisory services and employing our established methodology and delivery toolkit.
  • Championing the development of our Microsoft Security Portfolio and setting global delivery standards.

Requirements include:

  • Extensive professional experience, including time as a project or product manager responsible for sophisticated services portfolios or projects.
  • Detailed understanding of matrix organizational structures and the dynamics in the sales, pre-sales, and delivery domains.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cutting-edge and legacy Security technologies and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Security technology and products.
  • Knowledge of Security concepts like Zero Trust, Threat Protection, Data Protection, SecOps, and regulations like NIS2, DORA, CIS.
  • Experience in service delivery model design and execution.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence) for documentation and product management.
  • Deep understanding of project management standards and methodologies.
  • ITIL certification and extensive knowledge of designing services and process flows.
  • An excellent command of English, both written and spoken, including C-level presentation skills.
  • Solid business writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
