Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Application Foundation team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade products and services that leverage various tools and technologies.

Your primary focus will be on software delivery, where you will write code, build services, and deliver products while executing against a committed delivery timeline. You will also participate in DevOps activities, including on-duty 24/7 support shifts when it is your shift.

In addition to software delivery, you will grow your knowledge of the development landscape by working with the team Product Manager and Development Manager to design, lead implementation, and test new features. You will also ensure adoption by stakeholders within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade products and services
  • Participate in DevOps activities, including on-duty 24/7 support shifts
  • Grow knowledge of the development landscape
  • Ensure adoption by stakeholders

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Education:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong advocate for Agile development processes
  • Proven experience in AI use case development
  • Previous experience with business applications like S/4HANA Cloud, public & private edition
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go and Java
  • Demonstrate understanding and expertise in DevOps methodologies and principles
