The role of Technical Analyst involves providing exceptional technical support and training for our products, including StarSteer.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging technical presentations to clients (online and in-person)
- Offer on-site support and multi-day training with clients, requiring occasional travel
- Provide customer technical support via phone, email, potentially including evening and weekend calls
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling technical demonstrations
- Track clients' bugs and new feature requests
- Residency in Macaé, Brazil is a mandatory requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English; experience creating and delivering presentations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Google Docs
- Working knowledge of Python
- Intermediate to advanced ability with geosteering software, particularly StarSteer, is an asset
- Experience with geoscience software, such as Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, etc.
- Computer science and/or IT troubleshooting background
