Job Summary:

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management function, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks that could impact our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess risks and develop strategies to address the root causes of operational risk losses.
  • Provide governance and oversight, including technology operational risk and cyber risk management.
  • Manage issues through key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and corrective action plans.
  • Resolve transactional-level escalations from vendors or internal partners.
  • Analyze multiple scorecards and performance management tools to mitigate exposure.
  • Monitor goals and ensure compliance through performance, risk, and relationship oversight of our extended supply chain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate those requiring commercial or legal support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business users and lines of defense to understand and deliver customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage servicing operational processes and technology platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
  • Detailed-oriented with analytical skills, and expertise in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Third-party oversight and vendor oversight experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or University degree, Master's degree preferred.
