Senior Consultant - Risk
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team of actuarial professionals. As a Senior Consultant, you will work on developing and delivering reserve studies, pricing/funding analyses, and captive consulting activities for our healthcare and corporate clients.
You will be responsible for leading the team through data preparation, producing and analyzing initial results, and working closely with senior colleagues to increase industry knowledge and sharpen actuarial skills.
As part of our Corporate practice, you will be mentored by more senior colleagues with deep relevant experience.
The Risk and Analytics Corporate Practice includes over 100 actuarial professionals focused on large market, U.S. clients. Our primary services include reserving and funding for retained losses, captive feasibility, retention optimization, and cost allocation models.
As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to varied and interesting projects such as:
- Self-Insurance and Captives - Pricing/funding analyses, valuation of liabilities, captive feasibility, and risk retention optimization
- Predictive Modeling - Development and application of advanced predictive modeling techniques to help clients improve loss experience and enhance overall business performance
- Analysis of Loyalty rewards programs for various industries
