As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control system concepts for new technology applications as part of new product introductions. You will define engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control feature/diagnostics requirements and documentation, and work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet challenging requirements.

• Developing and enhancing engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control system concepts for new technology applications
• Defining engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control feature/diagnostics requirements and documentation
• Working with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet challenging requirements
• Performing and documenting failure modes analysis (DFMEA)
• Supporting feature calibration and validation efforts in the engine test cell, integrated hardware simulator testing, locomotive system testing, customer acceptance and field in-service monitoring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Professional project experience in engine/powertrain systems, electrical systems/controls modeling, and/or control systems engineering
• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with engineering tools and processes
• Demonstrated technical project or program execution capability
• Skilled in developing, analyzing, and reviewing SIMULINK and Visio model diagrams
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, oral and written
