Driving Innovation Across the Organization

The IT Lead will be responsible for spearheading innovation initiatives across the organization, identifying industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development.

  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends and new technologies to identify opportunities for collaboration with external partners.
  • Analyze data and market trends to generate insights that inform the innovation process.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external partners, such as universities and research institutes, to identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Lead and motivate a team of innovators, providing guidance and support throughout the ideation, development, and implementation phases of projects.
  • Manage the patent portfolio, ensuring all intellectual property is properly protected.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management to update them on progress and share ideas for further growth.
  • Implement systems and processes to measure the success of innovation initiatives.
  • Train employees on how to use new technologies and processes related to innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years' experience in innovation management and product management.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong understanding of product development cycle and process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA or advanced degree in related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Familiarity with lean and agile methodology.
  • Creative thinker with experience outside of traditional product development roles.
