BPI Software Developer Role

Our team is seeking a talented software developer to join our efforts in creating innovative solutions for the telecommunications industry.

This role involves collaborating with our delivery architect and project team to design Blue Planet solutions that leverage telecommunication and networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in implementing enterprise-level software solutions for mission-critical systems, as well as proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST, JSON, and Angular 2+.

We are looking for an individual who can optimize database queries and procedures for efficient performance, support configuration management scripts, and create device and service models for various telecommunication/networking technologies.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with backend testing frameworks/libraries such as JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, and Cucumber, as well as frontend development frameworks/libraries like Angular 2+, React, Node.js/npm, D3.js, and gulp.

  • Key Activities:
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Architect and Project team to design Blue Planet solutions for telecommunication/networking technologies.
  • Participate in customer discussions to understand requirements and provide clarifications for implementation.
  • Write and maintain solution documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Implement project solutions using Java, Spring, Neo4J, JSON, REST, JUnit, Angular, and Drools.
  • Optimize database queries and procedures for efficient performance.
  • Support configuration management scripts for Blue Planet's CI/CD processes.
  • Create device and service models for various telecommunication/networking technologies.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST, JSON, and Angular 2+
  • Strong background in telecommunication technology and OSS Inventory and Automation systems.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise-level software solutions for mission-critical OSS systems.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Backend testing frameworks/libraries: JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, and Cucumber.
  • Frontend development frameworks/libraries: Angular 2+, React, Node.js/npm, D3.js, and gulp.
  • Other skills: AWS Cloud, CI/CD, ElasticSearch, Drools, Kafka integration, and ReST on Spring MVC.
