About the Role

Are you a skilled Database Engineer looking for a challenging and dynamic work environment? We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement, and maintain efficient PostgreSQL schemas to support product features and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Efficient Schemas: Create optimized PostgreSQL schemas to support product features and ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Maintain and Tune Database Performance: Ensure database performance is maintained and tuned to meet the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Teams: Work closely with engineers, QA, and DevOps to streamline data flow and reliability.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues promptly.
RequirementsMust-Haves:
  • Database Engineering Experience: +2 years of experience in database engineering with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Complex Relational Database Systems: Proven experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex relational database systems.
  • SQL Performance Tuning: Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS RDS or GCP Cloud SQL.
  • Data Migration Techniques: Knowledge of data migration techniques.
  • Backend Technologies: Experience supporting backend services written in Java or other modern backend stacks.
