Business Intelligence Developer Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence developer to design and implement reports, data visualizations, and business solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Business Objects development, including universe design and report creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Business Objects universes to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- Create and develop Business Objects reports, connecting to universes and ensuring accurate data representation.
- Design and implement various visualizations, including charts, graphs, and tables, to enhance report effectiveness.
- Develop filters and drill-down functionalities to provide users with interactive reporting options.
- Deploy Business Objects reports to the BO server, ensuring seamless access for end-users.
- Maintain documentation for developed universes, reports, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Business Objects development, including universe design and report creation.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience using Azure Databricks as a data source for reporting and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BI tools and technologies beyond Business Objects.
This position is remote, and we're open to considering candidates based in Latin America. We're looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively as part of our team.
