About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our digital transformation journey as a Junior Backend Software Developer in Rio de Janeiro.

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong foundations in Python programming and a passion for learning cloud technologies.

This role offers the chance to contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, with opportunities to grow your skills in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and modern development tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop high-quality Python-based applications and services under the guidance of senior team members.
  2. Support the implementation of cloud solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  3. Learn how to design scalable and secure systems using cloud-native services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  4. Work closely with senior developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver working solutions.
  5. Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) by assisting in the configuration and deployment of managed services.
  6. Assist in setting up and monitoring cloud resources, adhering to guidelines for reliability and performance.
  7. Ensure code quality and maintainability through adherence to development and deployment guidelines.
Requirements
  • Strong foundation in Python programming and data structures.
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) – experience with Azure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git) and basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
  • Willingsness to learn about containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
  • Interest in cloud security, networking, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
