Deckhand Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deckhand to join our team on board the SW Duchess.

Job Description:

The Deckhand will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of deck equipment, standing watch, and performing lookout duties. The candidate must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and operation of deck equipment
  • Stand watch and perform lookout duties
  • Handle mooring lines and assist in cargo operations
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Ablebody Seafarer (AB)
  • Valid STCW certification
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Specific certifications such as AB roule II/5, HLO Course (MCIA), Profic. in Surv. Craft & Resc. Boats (CESS), HUET, CAEBs
