**Key Responsibilities**:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Specialist to join our team at Sabis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pedagogy and be proficient in English. Key responsibilities include:

  • Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and head of department as needed.
  • Implementing the SABIS point system to ensure a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Providing support by invigilating exams as needed in a well-managed exam environment.
  • Supporting academically low-performing students to improve their motivation and reach their potential.
  • Developing and following external exams preparation by going through past papers as planned in the structured revision schedule.
  • Aiding in duties such as testing children, substituting for absent teachers, organizing children for lunches and buses, controlling traffic, and other administrative duties assigned by the school management.
  • Preparing and participating in activity plans for student life events such as art, open house, and physical education in coordination with the student life coordinator.
  • Attending training sessions as needed to enhance understanding of the SABIS system and improve performance.

  • Pedagogy degree
  • English proficiency
  • MS Office skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team
