Fugro is a leading geographic data expert, and we're seeking a strategic and experienced Controller to lead our finance team in business partnering, business recovery, compliance, finance operations, and strategy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  2. Lead business recovery efforts by mitigating financial risks, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring business continuity in times of crisis or uncertainty.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial transactions and reporting.
  4. Manage finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial systems, to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
  5. Drive strategic initiatives, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and scenario planning, to support decision-making and drive long-term value creation.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  7. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the business and proactively recommend strategic adjustments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on business partnering, business recovery, compliance, finance operations, and strategy.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Proven track record of driving business results through strategic planning, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in the services sector preferred.
  • Experience with IFS ERP desirable.
  • Advanced English.
