We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team and work on various projects. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leading startups and Fortune 500 companies.

About the Role

This position requires integrating directly into the client's team and working alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required, along with 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Advanced English is essential, and proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions, and experience with Docker and containerization principles is also required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in object-oriented programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, Go, or C#.
  • Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows, as well as knowledge of SQL for data manipulation or database operations.
  • A positive mindset and ability to work through new and difficult issues are essential qualities.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization principles.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an object-oriented programming language.
  • Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
  • Interest in using AI to enhance developer tooling and automation.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation or database operations.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with the goals of our clients, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
