Senior Backend Engineer Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to lead initiatives in database optimization and scalable software development. In this role, you will design and optimize databases for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining efficient back-end systems to handle high data volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Optimize Databases: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Back-End Development: Develop and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable software solutions.
  • Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with Python programming language.
  • Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake.
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
  • Upper-Intermediate English Level.
