As a senior developer, you will play a key role in shaping the e-commerce landscape by delivering high-quality software solutions for Fortune 500 brands and innovative startups. Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, with a minimum of 4 years of experience. They will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating as needed. Additionally, they will engage with product management and business partners on system capabilities, design, and solutions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level Shopify technical support and troubleshooting;
  • Collaborate with product management and business partners on system capabilities and design;
  • Work with development teams to ensure technical requirements are met;
  • Support project management with effort estimates and planning;
  • Develop key system components and identify reusable modules;
  • Research platform capabilities and opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap;
  • Perform code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features;
  • Participate in code reviews and unit testing.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of Shopify development experience;
  • Solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies;
  • Experience troubleshooting site issues using various tools;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Experience with page performance optimization and secure development practices;
  • Familiarity with front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow;
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems like Jira;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Patient, empathetic, and customer-first mindset;
  • Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies and procedures;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or technical support is a plus;
  • Salesforce Cloud experience;
  • Proficiency in core JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
