Job Description:

As a Calypso Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive and integrated approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances.

You will develop necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, create and deliver assigned projects/tasks, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

You must be competent in managing and establishing methodology and best practice for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, ensuring supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.

You will work closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

Additionally, you will submit status reports to stakeholders and coordinate updates to steering committees.

  • Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Deep Knowledge of Financial products cross assets.
  • Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions(settings) within Calypso.
  • Experience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation and handover to BAU.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
  • Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.">
