We are seeking a highly skilled Master HVAC Technician to join our team at Iqtalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems in various environments.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Evaluate HVAC Systems: Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems and components to identify areas of improvement and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Diagnose and resolve complex problems with HVAC systems, including fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategic environmental systems.
- Install and Repair Equipment: Install, modify, overhaul, repair, and maintain a variety of complex HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, air handlers, pumps, motors, valves, heating systems, and associated auxiliary and control equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering Team: Work closely with engineering or scientific personnel to discuss plans, modifications, and user needs, and review available plans, specifications, or drawings to determine the size, shape, and location of equipment.
- Design and Maintain Environmental Systems: Design, modify, maintain, and repair critical environmental and energy support systems, including computerized controls and air quality monitoring systems, in mobile secure facilities.
- Produce Technical Documentation: Create classified technical documentation outlining in-depth technical findings and recommendations.
- Deploy to Various Environments: Perform periodic, worldwide deployments in strategic and tactical mobile facility environments, providing expert technical assistance for a 24-hour operational environment with limited documentation resources.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and three years of experience, or a combination of 10 years' education and experience with a valid Master HVAC license, or equivalent, at a State level; or 12 years' experience in an equivalent Military HVAC training/certification.
- Technical Skills: Specific experience in fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategic environmental systems and their sophisticated electronic support systems; ability to plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems not fully covered by technical manuals, schematics, etc.
- Certifications and Clearances: Possess a North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification and meet US Government accepted and industry standards criteria for technically complex computer environmental systems, uninterrupted power distribution systems, and power control equipment; active TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED.
- Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $47,100-$96,500.
