Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Keep Simple. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Extract and compile data from various sources to create comprehensive reports, analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to streamline data visualization and accessibility.
  • Communication: Prepare presentations and reports for executive-level meetings, ensuring clarity and accuracy of information, and present findings and insights to senior management and executive teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data reporting.
  • Experience with KPI tracking and performance metrics.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with database management and data warehousing.
