Job Title: FP&A Analyst II

Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst II to support the development of strategic plans, drive transparent financial reporting, and analyze actual SG&A spending.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual strategic plan, operating plan, and monthly results analysis.
  • Drive rigorous financial planning and analysis, and budgeting throughout the business.
  • Analyze actual SG&A spending and forecast.
  • Manage product vitality and price realization reporting leveraging commercial database.
  • Work with accounting team to ensure close timeline and reporting requirements can be met.
  • Establish and improve performance metrics to assist with business evaluation and decision making.
  • Provide financial information and make recommendations for business partners.
  • Establish relationships with business leadership team and define practices and strategies to add value and maintain cost effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A or Finance.
  • Accounting basic knowledge or experience.
  • Experience in working Multi-National companies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & Power Point, knowledge of Access and Power-BI preferred.
  • Extensive experience in ERP system; SAP and Hyperion (a plus).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with team and other managers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Punctual in working manner and reporting.
  • Able to work independently with limited direction.
