Educational Assistant

We are seeking a skilled educator to work collaboratively with our teaching staff in providing high-quality support for pupils' academic, social, and personal development.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with staff and pupils. They must be proactive, flexible, resilient, collaborative, team-oriented, and committed to continuous professional development.

• Support pupils in group and individual settings, following the guidance of class or specialist teachers and upholding high expectations of teaching and learning.

• Promote positive values, attitudes, and behavior in line with our policy, helping pupils develop confidence, skills, good judgment, and independence.

• Assist in organizing the learning environment and preparing resources, ensuring sports equipment is well maintained and readily available.

• Maintain a safe and respectful environment by supervising pupils, engaging positively with them, and mediating conflicts when necessary.

• Communicate effectively with class and specialist teachers/coaches, both verbally and in writing, to ensure consistency throughout the school day.

• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, enabling full participation in activities.

• Encourage inclusion and acceptance of all pupils, helping each child feel valued and successful in their learning.

• Model our professional standards, including uniform, punctuality, attendance, and conduct with all members of the school community.

• Support the coach in improving pupils' performance and ensuring their health and safety.
