About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Didi Global. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's financial efficiency and minimizing risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the calculation of municipal, state, and federal taxes for the company
  • Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Analyze tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Conduct business case analyses to evaluate tax effects and impacts of new operations
  • Monitor tax legislation and ensure compliance with changing regulations
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the tax team to ensure best practices and informed tax decisions
  • Provide effective support to business areas to drive growth and profitability
Requirements
  • More than 9 years of experience in tax and accounting
  • Solid background in direct and indirect taxes, including compliance activities management
  • Past performance in a technology company or new economy will be considered a differential
  • Degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Fluency in English is essential
