Mathematics Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mathematics teacher to join our Secondary section. This is an excellent chance for the right candidate to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context, with a relevant degree in the subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification. They will be enthusiastic about professional development and committed to developing their practice and that of their colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in collaborative planning, preparation, and organisation of teaching and learning based on the IB MYP and DP Programmes.
  • Plan and deliver IB-aligned lessons in the MYP section and possibly also in the DP, as well as supporting the IB DP Core components, including CAS, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge.
  • Apply the best pedagogical practice, based on a detailed knowledge of a range of appropriate teaching and learning strategies curated for the MYP/DP classroom.
  • Be part of the Pastoral team in Secondary School and engage with the holistic nature of learning in the school.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
  • A relevant degree in the subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification is required.
  • Experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills are necessary.
