Accounting Analyst

About the Role
This is a key position within our finance organization, focusing on Accounts Receivable analysis and working closely with customers to ensure timely cash collection. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing AR aging reports daily, identifying delinquent invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily review of AR aging reports to identify delinquencies requiring immediate attention;
- Determination of reasons for delinquency and collaborative work with customers to resolve issues;
- Accurate documentation of all collection efforts in relevant tools and reports;
- Investigation of invoice and billing discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate receivables according to due dates;
- Timely follow-up on payment arrangements and driving actions to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO);
- Identification of payment improvements for cash application speed;
- Tracking progress against monthly forecasted goals;
- Evaluation of customer credit and financial health;
- Education of internal and external customers on self-service tools;
- Implementation of best practices for Order-to-Cash processes; documentation of operating procedures for complex customers;
- Recognition of escalation trends, identification of defects, and communication at executive levels;
- Collaboration with Sales, Billing, Shared Service, and other teams to resolve defects;
- Use of data from various databases and internal tools for reporting and analysis;
- Leadership of innovative multi-functional projects and teams.
