Job Summary
As a highly skilled Bim Technician, you will play a key role in delivering top-notch MEP systems for iconic projects in the UAE.
About the Role
- Review tender and IFC information per ISO19650 standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain Revit-based Bim models, including GA plans, sections, diagrams, and schedules, to support project delivery.
- Perform clash detection and coordination to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain clean, healthy Bim models following industry best practices to ensure data integrity.
- Update and revise models/documents based on RFIs, design changes, and site instructions to reflect current project status.
- Identify inconsistencies in contract documents and flag them appropriately to prevent misunderstandings.
- Assist with as-built documentation and handover preparation to ensure seamless project closure.
- Work collaboratively in shared environments (CDE), supporting both internal and external teams to achieve common goals.
- Follow project standards, templates, protocols, and document control procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
- Provide accurate technical responses to site queries and requests to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering to provide a solid foundation in building design and construction principles.
- Minimum 3 years of Bim experience on construction projects to demonstrate expertise and proficiency.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD to enable efficient model development and collaboration.
- Familiarity with CDE platforms and coordination tools (Revizto, Navisworks) to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat to facilitate document creation and management.
- Understanding of Bim principles and workflows to ensure effective implementation and integration.
- Strong written and spoken English skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
