About this Cybersecurity Project Manager Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead our organization's cybersecurity projects. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of our cybersecurity projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, IT operations, legal, and compliance, to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the execution of cybersecurity projects, initiatives, and resource management.
  • Deliver on cybersecurity projects using best practices and methodologies.
  • Define priorities, requirements, dependencies, and manage projects through planning, design, build, testing, and service transition phases.
  • Ensure agreed objectives and success criteria are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Identify and facilitate resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Anticipate project risks and escalate in a timely manner to drive decisions and/or course correction.
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of program and project management experience.
  • 1-3 years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Detail-oriented – ensures accuracy with all deliverables.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • PMO certifications.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM.
  • Scrum / Agile Methodology.
