Position Overview

As a Senior Engineer - Well Control, you will be integral to the success of our engineering teams in Hyderabad, IN. This role focuses on enhancing our innovative approaches in the energy sector while ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of specific engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Evaluate and authorize engineering designs, ensuring compliance with established standards and performance metrics.
  • Maintain oversight of engineering schedules, providing regular updates to project management.
  • Prepare and manage essential documentation, including Engineering Change Notices and specifications, while adhering to company policies.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and devise design solutions that prioritize safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Offer expert technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective communication and consistent methodologies.
  • Engage with technical authorities to define product requirements that align with industry practices.
  • Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges, leveraging both internal and external resources.
  • Consult with various departments on equipment designs, proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders and customers.
  • Enhance industry knowledge through participation in technical forums and publications.
  • Assist engineering management with technical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in subsea production systems.
  • Proven track record in engineering support for subsea projects, emphasizing safety, quality, and cost management.
  • Experience in reviewing engineering designs and interpreting structural analysis results.
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to subsea equipment design.
  • Exposure to various manufacturing and welding processes.
  • Ability to manage engineering projects effectively within set timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves office work, with occasional exposure to manufacturing environments. Some travel may be required to engage with regional offices and vendors.
