Main Responsibilities- We are seeking an experienced Litigation Counsel with a proven track record in dispute resolution to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling ongoing litigations and arbitrations, managing legal efforts in response to contentious inquiries, negotiating with external counsels, and providing proactive, commercially sensible legal advice to all stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience at a reputable global law firm in a common law jurisdiction in LATAM, hold a Bachelors or Master of Laws degree from a top law school, and possess solid legal technical expertise as well as sound business and people judgment sense.
- Key skills include knowledge of financial products (including spot trading, margin trading, futures and options) and commercial transactions, with experience in handling disputes for traditional financial institutions and cryptocurrency organisations being highly preferred.
- We are looking for someone who can develop relevant and creative solutions to handle risks and manage disputes, has excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills, and can communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Portuguese/Spanish.
- A qualified lawyer in dispute resolution with 2+ years of experience at a reputable global law firm in a common law jurisdiction in LATAM.
- Bachelors or Master of Laws degree from a top law school.
- Knowledge of financial products (including spot trading, margin trading, futures and options) and commercial transactions essential.
- Experience with handling disputes for traditional financial institutions and cryptocurrency organisations is highly preferred.
- Excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Portuguese/Spanish.
