Structural Design Engineer
Job Description:This position is for a Senior Structural Design Engineer to work on aircraft structures and propulsion systems. The successful candidate will have knowledge in structural elements, actuation mechanisms, and relevant integration aspects. They will provide oversight and direction for the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements. This includes leading the development, maintenance, and modification of structural and component designs using 3D computer-aided design tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience with structural design principles for aircraft, analytical skills, and communication skills. They should be proficient in verbal and written communications in English and have existing rights to work in Brazil. A degree in Engineering and registration or eligibility to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council are also required.
Responsibilities:- Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish system design.
- Lead development, maintenance, and modification of structural and component designs.
- Manage supplier development, test, and production activities.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
- Existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Registration or eligibility to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council.
- Proficient in verbal and written communications in English.
