**Job Summary:**

  • Deliver high-quality patient care by contributing to the nursing care plan from admission to discharge.
  • Prepare and present assessment of patient's progress to families.
  • Monitor pain management procedures and ensure they meet clinical standards.
  • Participate in the discharge planning process to ensure seamless transition for patients.
  • Ensure current and accurate patient documentation.
  • Supervise ancillary staff members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest research, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements in ICU nursing.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, an Associate's degree, or a Nursing diploma from an accredited Institution as a Registered Nurse / RN.
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
  • BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
  • At least six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute-care setting is preferred.
  • Critical Care experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
