Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong specialization in C#, software development methodologies, and the ability to design, develop, and maintain complex .NET / C# based applications.

  • Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills: Identify and solve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical persons and also collaborate well within a team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.
  • Code Quality Maintenance: Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Learning Commitment: Show a strong commitment to learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Legacy System Transition: Develop strategies for transitioning from legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Agile Development Participation: Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ Years of Backend Experience: 6+ years of experience as a backend developer with a strong focus on C#.
  • .NET Proficiency: Proficient in .NET Framework/.NET Core.
  • API Design and Architecture: Can design RESTful APIs, architect software systems (taking into consideration scalability, maintainability, and performance).
  • Testing Emphasis: Emphasizes the importance of testing, automated testing frameworks, and writing unit tests.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Design Patterns and Principles: Familiar with design patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, and other software design principles.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiar with DevOps practices (CI, CD, and deployments pipelines). Utilizes tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for development and deployment.
  • Frontend Understanding: Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
