Accounting Operations Specialist

Responsible for producing periodic financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reviewing external accounting provider's reports, and coordinating annual budget processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support senior management in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
  2. Review external accounting provider's reports for timeliness and accuracy;
  3. Prepare cash flow forecasts in collaboration with the company's AR/AP coordinator;
  4. Monitor performance of the business and compare realized results with budgeted targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis;
  5. Coordinate annual budget process and monthly financial forecast, which involves coordinating activities, calendar, information gathering, assigning responsibilities with other areas: Acquisition, Marketing, Legal, and Asset Management.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year College or university.

Experience

Minimum 4+ years of bookkeeping experience; 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.

Technical Skills
  • Robust knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks;
  • ACCA/CIMA/CCAB or equivalent qualifications are a bonus;
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
