Structural Analysis Engineer Position
">Job Purpose:The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the scope of maintenance, repair and modification of subsea equipment in accordance with quality, safety, customer requirements, industry standards and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform analytical analysis of mechanical components to ensure they meet required safety and performance standards.
- Develop automation scripts using Python to improve efficiency and accuracy in structural analysis tasks.
- Conduct numerical analysis (FEA) of subsea systems, including linear and non-linear analyses.
- Issue and review internal process standardization procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering or Civil Engineering is required.
- Certification in CREA is mandatory.
- Experience in structural analysis of mechanical systems, including static and dynamic structural analysis of subsea systems.
- Strong technical skills including Strength of Materials, Mathcad, ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Desirable: Python and OrcaFlex programming skills.
