Job Description Summary
As a key member of the GE Power Portfolio team, this role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources.
This role impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
Non-Turnkey Projects or Product/Equipment-Only Projects focused on lifting equipment market.
Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for small-medium sized projects (size in relation to GE company) that may include equipment-only, suites of products or non-turnkey projects.
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Lead a team including ITO and OTR phase.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Project Management & Project Management.
Leadership experience.
Desired Characteristics
Sales experience.
Knowledge on Hydro or metals market.
