Global Payment Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Procurement Expert, delivering and maintaining standard, consistent, and global real-time payments reflecting the assessed risk parameters for each project.
- The ideal candidate will manage the volumes of purchase order activities required to support business purchasing requirements within an end-to-end cycle that aims to pay 3rd Party suppliers within agreed payment terms.
- They will ensure Request to Pay transactions and workflows are processed and all associated day-to-day activities are delivered at top-quartile performance levels.
- The successful candidate will resolve Request to Pay issues with Requisitioners, Procurement Staff, Vendors, Tax and Finance, and ensure that Request to Pay processes are understood and followed.
- Key responsibilities include creating Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO) and Service Entries (SE) from ERP Requisitions, maintaining PR/SE and resolving any associated queries on a timely basis, close liaison with designated invoice query focal point, Business community and Accounts Payable, requesting Outline Agreement creation, identifying and analyzing diligently all the issues related to Non-Compliance and late payment of invoices and improving the performance.
- Additionally, the Procurement Expert will identify potential Request to Pay Continuous Improvement opportunities in support of the drive for greater Request to Pay efficiency and possibly take part in these continuous improvement initiatives to assist in the implementation and execution of actions arising.
- Close coordination with Category managers, Procurement Managers and Senior Buyers in maintenance of Contracts and Outline Agreements in ERP System is also expected.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
- Previous experience with SAP and Business Warehouse Software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience with contract/procurement process would be a plus.
- Previous experience with PR/PO and processing invoices would be a plus.
- Fully versed with Request to Pay principles, techniques and industry standard tools.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
