Company Overview: Amazon is a global e-commerce leader seeking an experienced Retail Business Development Manager to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our Retail organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic partnerships with vendors.
About the Role: The Retail Business Development Manager will be the primary point of contact for top-tier vendors, responsible for auditing and escalating performance, negotiating terms and cost structures, and developing long-term partnerships to drive category growth. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work across multiple teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and escalate vendor performance to improve overall terms and cost structures
- Negotiate and finalize agreements with vendors to drive category growth
- Develop and implement strategies to increase product category sales through vendor relationships
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution on business objectives
- Analyze business data and develop insights to inform vendor relationships and category growth strategies
Requirements:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Experience in strategy, consultancy, financial analysis, category management, account management, product management, project management, buying, or marketing
- Ability to analyze complex business data and develop actionable insights
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive business outcomes
- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Estimate Salary Range: R$120,000 - R$180,000 per year, depending on experience.
