**Job Opportunity:** Regional Technical Service Veterinarian
Aviagen, a leading poultry breeding company, is seeking an exceptional individual to join its Global Veterinary Team.
The successful candidate will provide veterinary medicine guidance to clients in Latin America, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of poultry health issues. This role involves close collaboration with Aviagen management, sales, and technical personnel in the region.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with previous experience and/or postdoctoral degree/training in Avian Medicine.
- Skilled in clinical diagnosis of poultry health problems and ability to develop and communicate appropriate solutions to customers and colleagues.
- A minimum of 5 years veterinary experience with commercial broiler breeders and/or broiler flocks.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese and English is required.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently, maintaining accurate records and visitation reports, while possessing good interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, and a team player, with excellent presentation, technical writing, and communication skills.
Others:The position will report directly to the Global Head of Veterinary Technical Service. The preferred employment base is South America.
